The parish of St. Mary the Virgin is located in the Blackburn Hamlet area and is home to people from the communities of Blackburn Hamlet, Orleans, Navan, Chapel Hill, Bradley Estates and the City of Ottawa. St. Mary's has served the community in three different centuries, creating a rich and evolving history.

The activities and programs at St. Mary's are guided by a community vision statement: Be as Christ Today! Our Community Seeks to Make Christ Known by Serving a World in Need.

Helping to make the world a better place

     

We will no longer be accepting your electronic waste for recycling. However, electronic waste is a big problem for our planet. This is why The Ontario Electronics Stewardship (OES) website was launched April 1, 2009 to provide information about recovering electronic waste for reuse and recycling.

This program brings
Ottawa's current Take it Back! initiative to a whole new level.

We encourage you to explore both programs to help protect God's great creation for generations to come.
